Every December, the same thing happens to thousands of client gifts: a nice box arrives, gets opened at someone's desk, and is forgotten by the second week of January. The gift wasn't bad. It just wasn't about you.
The client gifts people remember share three traits: they arrive on time, everyone on the receiving team can enjoy them, and the sender's brand is part of the gift itself rather than a sticker on the box. This guide walks through how to hit all three this season, with gift ideas at every budget and a 2026 order-by calendar so nothing shows up after the office has emptied out for the holidays.
Why custom candy works so well as a client gift
Your logo is inside the candy, not on the wrapper. With Custom LogoMints® and Personalized Lollipops, your full-color logo or artwork is embedded directly in the hard candy. Every time someone reaches into the bowl, they see your brand, which is a lot more exposure than a gift card ever gets.
Everyone on the team can eat it. When you send a gift to a client's office, you rarely know who has a nut allergy, who's vegan, who keeps kosher, or who's cutting sugar. Candify candy is sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, and certified kosher, so the whole office can share it. No one gets left out, and no one has to read the ingredient label twice. (More on this in our guide to sugar-free and kosher candy.)
It gets shared. A bottle of wine goes home with one person. A box of logo mints sits at reception and gets passed around the entire floor. That's more people seeing your name for weeks, not minutes.
It fits nearly any budget. You can send something thoughtful for a few dollars per person, or a showpiece for your top accounts, without the cost of a catered basket.
Client gift ideas by budget
Under $5 per person: the personal touch
- Candy Cards ($4–$5 each, 12 minimum). A personalized card with your message and logo, paired with sugar-free candy. Ideal for slipping into an order, mailing to individual contacts, or handing out at a year-end meeting. Think of it as a thank-you note people actually keep on their desk.
- Small 1.5" logo lollipops ($3.25 each, 25 minimum). An easy add-on to existing holiday packages or a sweet extra in every shipment you send in December.
- LogoMints® as an order insert (82¢ each, 120 minimum). Drop a few individually wrapped logo mints into every package you ship this season. It's a small, low-cost touch that makes an ordinary delivery feel like a gift.
$5–$25: the team favorite
- Standard 2" logo lollipops ($5 each, 12 minimum). The classic choice for client teams, with enough room for a crisp logo or a seasonal design.
- A bundle per office. Instead of one gift per person, send one bag of LogoMints for the whole team to share. It goes in the break room, and your brand stays in the break room through the new year.
- For the team that's grinding through year-end. Our sugar-free Caffeine Cubes Trial Pack ($15 for three flavors) makes a playful add-on for the accounting, ops, or project teams pushing to close out the year.
$25 and up: the VIP and showpiece gifts
- Large and giant lollipops (4" at $25, 6" at $50, 10" at $75). These are conversation pieces. A 10" lollipop with your client's logo, or a design that celebrates your partnership, is the kind of gift that ends up on a shelf and in photos.
- The reception-desk display box. Fill a clear acrylic box with a magnetic top ($25) with 120–150 LogoMints. A box with 120 mints comes to about $123 before volume discounts, and it becomes the candy dish the whole office visits all winter, with your logo inside every piece.
Stretch your budget with volume pricing
If you're sending to a lot of clients, quantity works in your favor. Volume discounts are applied automatically in your cart as your order grows, so there's no code to hunt for and no quote to wait on.
One tip that saves real money: discount tiers are counted separately for each image, flavor, and size. If you split 500 mints across four flavors and three designs, each combination is priced on its own smaller quantity. If you keep the order to one design and one or two flavors, more of your units count toward the same tier and you'll reach the bigger discounts faster. For most client gifting, one strong holiday version of your logo in a crowd-pleasing flavor like peppermint is all you need.

2026 holiday order-by calendar
This is where most client gifts go wrong. Custom candy is made to order: standard delivery is 7–10 business days after you approve your digital proof, which includes production and shipping. The proof step comes first, so allow a day or two for a round of review on your end too.
Here are the latest dates to approve your proof for on-time arrival with standard delivery. Carriers get very busy in late November and December, so ordering a week earlier is always the safer move.
| Gift occasion | Target arrival | Approve your proof by |
|---|---|---|
| Thanksgiving "thank you" gifts | Fri, Nov 20 | Fri, Nov 6 |
| Chanukah (begins evening of Fri, Dec 4) | Thu, Dec 3 | Wed, Nov 18 |
| Year-end gifts before offices close | Fri, Dec 11 | Tue, Nov 24 |
| New Year "kickoff" gifts | Fri, Jan 8 | Fri, Dec 18 |
Have a specific event date that's tighter than this? Contact us before you order so we can confirm whether we can meet it. Expedited shipping speeds up delivery once your order ships, but it doesn't shorten production unless we've approved a rush in advance.
Pro tip: Don't think of late gifts as a lost cause. A "Happy New Year, here's to a great 2027" gift that lands in the first week of January stands out precisely because the December rush is over.
Client gift etiquette worth knowing
- Check gift policies. Many companies, especially in government, healthcare, and finance, limit what employees can accept. Shareable, modestly priced consumables like candy are often a safe choice, but it's worth asking your contact if you're not sure.
- Know the tax rule. In the U.S., business gifts are generally deductible only up to $25 per recipient per year. Talk to your accountant, but it's one more reason a thoughtful, affordable gift makes sense.
- Keep the message about them. Your logo is already in the candy, so let the card say thank you. A line about a project you worked on together goes further than a sales pitch.
- Think inclusive. "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" works for nearly every client list. If you know a client celebrates a specific holiday, a design made for that occasion is a lovely personal touch.
Artwork tips for the best-looking candy
- Bold, high-contrast logos reproduce best. Very fine detail and light gradients can soften inside the candy.
- Send the highest-resolution version of your logo you have.
- Want a seasonal look? Try your logo with a simple snowflake, star, or "Thank You" around it rather than a busy scene.
- Every order includes a complimentary digital proof, so you'll see exactly how it will look before anything is made.

Make this the year your gift gets remembered
The best client gifts aren't the most expensive ones. They're the ones that show up on time, get shared by the whole team, and keep your name in front of the people you work with long after the holidays are over.
